Centro de Investigação em Saúde de Manhiça is recruiting a Project Assistant, to be based in Manhiça.
Duties
- Work in collaboration with study team to ensure study preparedness (as applicable)
- Ensure that all project activities are implemented according to project objectives and timelines
- Work to ensure definition of objectives and the setting of priorities
- Responsible for setting agenda for team meeting, ensuring follow-up of key actions, and writing reports
- Delegate specific tasks as appropriat
- Monitor the project progress and ensure timely decision making
- Play and integral role in managing the overall site staff; this involves human resource and logistical issues
- Prepare monitoring visits to make sure monitors receive all necessary information during their visits
- Play a role in developing and implementing a recruitment plan to ensure long term recruitment target is met
- Ensure timely and accurate transcription of information on source documents, paper case report forms (CRF’s), and data entry
- Schedule trainings as needed for the site staff
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents to the financial sponsor and the regulatory sponsor
- Maintain update investigator’s file, including regulatory documents at the clinical site
- Ensure proper documentation specifications are in place during the conduct of the trial (as applicable)
- Develop reporting mechanism for bringing critical and high priority issues to the investigators, study sponsors, and/or the monitors
- Monitor enrollment and provide enrollment updates for the clinical team and the sponsors
- Develop or improve system of maintaining subject files
- Maintain communication whit IBR and take lead in reporting adverse events, protocol deviations, safety reports, and other items as directed by ICH guidelines and IRB’s
- Ensure proper documentation specifications are in place during the study
- Organize teleconferences
- Monitor and sustain motivation, conflict management, collaboration and communication among project partners
- Serve as the focal point for internal and external communication
- Ensure appropriate dissemination of information needed to carry out the project to partners and external counterparts
- Ensure implementation and follow-up of agreed plans and actions
- Monitor contractual agreements
- Recruitment, training and supervision of new staff (as applicable)
- Ensure timely reporting internally and to counterparts
- Oversee budget management and procurement
