Aldelia is recruiting a Project Manager (m/f), to be based in Temane, Mozambique.
Duties
  • Single point accountable person to deliver on agreed PSA IBL project objectives
  • To realize the business intent of a project by leading, managing, facilitating and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary project resources across the four tracks of the BD&I through to start-up, close-out and evaluation (gate 7)
  • Ensure overall project compliance to the Project Execution Plan (SHE, Quality, Cost and Schedule)
  • Ensure overall project compliance to legal, regulatory and Sasol requirements
  • Develop and implementation of project execution strategies and plans
  • Management of internal and external stakeholders/supplier relationships and contracts
  • Manage the implementation of different contracting strategies (LSTK, EPC, EPCm)
  • Develop estimates and ensure effective and accurate cost control
  • Ensure integrated risk management is effectively done
  • Ensure comprehensive change management is done
  • Ensure complete and up-to-date project administration
  • Manage SHERQ requirements
  • Manage the PSA Development IBL project within the BD&I, Standards and Procedures, PMBOK and NEC3 boundaries
  • Understand the total value chain of the associated business
  • Close collaboration with PSA Development stakeholders
  • Leadership and Values: Integration, management and coordination of all project activities, team members, contractors, suppliers, operations, internal and external stakeholders, and interfaces with other project disciplines (e.g. project controls, subsurface, well delivery, and business)
  • Ensure the setting and upholding of sound project management practices and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Drive and enable high performance within the project team
  • Relationships, Teamwork and Collaboration: Management of external stakeholders, supplier relationships and contracts
  • Alignment across project team members, contractors, suppliers, operations, internal and external stakeholders, and interfaces with other tracks (e.g. project controls, subsurface, well delivery, and business)
  • Leverage the understanding of customers, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders to improve project management results
Requisites
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor in Science
  • Postgraduate qualification in Project Management is preferential
  • Minimum experience: 10+ years experience in capital project management, with specific knowledge and experience in surface facilities project execution (FEED through to project closeout), project controls, construction management and supply chain/logistics
  • Experience in upstream development and Mozambique-based project execution is preferable
