Aldelia is recruiting a Project Manager (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
  • Defines the subsidiary’s Technical Integrity Policy, proposes implementation strategies and put in place the Technical Integrity Management Plan
  • Develops a system for the management of Downgraded Modes, Technical Integrity Threats and derogation
  • Act as the focal point for coordination of all derogation requests and also champions the Management of Change (MOC)
  • Conducts safety reviews of new projects and modification to existing installations or processes at the engineering phase prior to implementation on site and offer advice to Technical Department on Process Safety
  • Leads all major risks studies (TRA) and acts as focal point for all critical risk assessment in support of critical operations
  • Develops Technical Audit Protocol covering all the Group Major Rex and technical specifications and organizes Site Technical Integrity Audits & Inspections coveringall Depots, Lubricant Plants and Networks
  • Manages the Technical Integrity of Company Assets with the foremost objective of preventing a major accident and ensuring availability and reliability of Safety Critical Barriers
  • Ensures systematic compliance with existing company policies/procedures on HSEQ and Integrate with Group’s procedures and guides
  • Prepares and follows up actions relating to the prevention of major risks (Risk studies, environmental impact analysis, emergency preparedness, safety alerts) at sitesCoordinates Eva risks of Retail outlets
  • Conducts scheduled Safety Inspections of Plants/Depots/Stations to identify downgraded situations, ensure adequate corrections and ensure/ascertain compliance of integrity status
  • Collates and analyzes global action plans for all major sites, make recommendations to achieve needed improvements and monitor results with feedback to the sites. Tracks audits deficiencies until resolved/corrected
  • Leads or participates in major accident investigation and issues Rex on major Technical Integrity Threats
  • Coordinates and participates in major worksites safety reviews and audits
  • Ensures the Technical Integrity and Major Risks awareness is cascaded to all levels of the organization
Requisites
  • A bachelor’s degree in any of the Engineering, Applied Sciences or Safety
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the industry with good exposure in operations
  • Self motivated, innovative, imaginative and pro-active
  • Good interpersonal skills for effective liaison role within and outside the company (Govt regulatory agencies, etc.)
  • High level of computer literacy and managerial ability
