Project Services (m/f)

Duties

• Responsible for planning and organizing the scope of projects
• Responsible for supporting the delivery of projects on schedule and budget
• Support PMO (Project Management Office) in the development, implementation and maintenance of cost controls, centralized planning and scheduling and associated control tools, contributing to the safe delivery of projects
• In addition, the PMO Process & Tools Specialist will be the primary focal point for the Compass Group Enterprise Program & Project Management System (EPPMS), currently under implementation
• The specialist will become a ‘super-user’ of the system, liaising with Project Managers and the various business units to deliver accurate and relevant reporting on the status of projects and programs within the group
• Primarily responsible for the development and detail of projects scope in consultation with the appropriate Project Manager
• Development of the WBS in conjunction with the project team
• Interface with the Procurement, Engineering and Finance Departments to develop and maintain a detailed cost control system in alignment with the CBS and EPPMS
• Conduct site visits, where necessary to verify progress and identify any potential and critical issues

Requisites

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project or Programme Management or a related field
• Work experience in a Project Management environment
• Working towards PMP qualification experience in the identification, monitoring and reporting of project risks
• Ability to develop and update schedules, create reports and provide analysis using Microsoft Project/Primavera Experience working with project management plans (PMP) and plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E)
• Exposure to the Natural Resources or Energy Services sector
• Proven track record working with IT Systems
• Experience with ERP systems a plus
• Project Management/PMO knowledge/awareness
• Project Cost Management, analytical and problem-solving skills
