Quantity Surveyor

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.

Duties

• Attending site meetings with client to discuss contractual issues
• Evaluation of work progressively for the duration of the contract
• Identify extras with Supervisors
• Quantifying extras - must unsure how much extra material is needed and at what cost
• Submit claims for client\'s approval - ensure that claims are accurate
• Prices any additional/new work - must have sound knowledge of how to do it
• Compiles monthly financial reports to Management
• Monitor and report on productivity and profitability of contracts typing and control of confidential documents i.e. letters, memos, agreements, contracts etc
• Preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Performing risk analysis evaluations
• Writing reports
• Arranging payments to suppliers and contractors
• Providing advice and forecasts about costs
• Supervising staff
