Quantity Surveyor

Heading Moçambique is searching for a Quantity Surveyor, to be based in Pemba, Mozambique.

Duties

• Responsible for the accurate evaluation and control of construction works material and costs, and for the evaluation of the work in terms of the final costs and effective progress
• Monitoring the progress of the ongoing activities, validate Suppliers’/Contractors’ invoices, support tendering and contract documents development (collecting quantities for drawings, sketches and specifications prepared by designers), support the development of project reports, give support if requested on procurement plans, provide advice on quantities matters for contractual claims if requested, monitoring and controlling changes during execution phase

Requisites

• Technical diploma (Engineering is preferred)
• Quality Assurance course (preferred)
• Intermediate knowledge of English and fluent knowledge of local languages is preferred
• 3 years of Oil & Gas industry experience and 1 year of quantity surveying experience
