Remote Site Solutions is recruiting a Sales Executive (m/f), to be based in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.
Description
  • A leading remote site facility management and food service company in Mozambique is looking to retain the services of a highly driven and self-motivated Sales Executive to promote the company's activities and secure new contracts in the Cabo Delgado Province
  • If you have excellent communication and presentation skills, have established contacts with businesses operating in the Cabo Delgado area (Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals and Construction in particular) and you are motivated by success in a target driven environment we would like to talk to you
  • The company has operated in Mozambique for almost 15 years and has held a strong presence in the Cabo Delgado province as well as other provinces across the country
Duties
  • Assess and study the market and competitors
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities, including cold calling, networking and participating in relevant PQQ, ITT, RFP, RFQ's
  • Exploring potential partnerships, collaborations and joint venture opportunities
  • Contact, meet and professionally present the company's services to prospective customers
  • Work alongside company stakeholders to prepare and present suitable proposals and tender responses
  • Negotiate/Close deals that meet or exceed the company's minimum expectations for both revenue and profit and contribute to the company’s rapid and sustainable growth
  • Recommend new opportunities and improvements for maximizing revenue and profits
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, conferences and events
  • Writing reports and using CRM software to manage prospects and customer data
Requisites
  • Fluent (Oral and Written) in English Language and Proficient in Portuguese
  • At least 5 years sales experience of which at least 2 years selling services to Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals and Construction customers
  • Able to fully demonstrate proven success in a similar sales environment
  • Have an existing, well established network in both Maputo and Cabo Delgado
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Pemba, Cabo Delgado if required
  • Willing to travel to all areas of the province and the wider country as requested/required, subject to the security situation
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Valid driving license
Desired but not essential requirements:
  • Degree Educated
  • Worked in the same industry previously

  • This role will be remunerated either with a basic salary + commission or commission only, depending on the candidate
