IS is recruiting a Sales Manager, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
Strategy
- Compile the sales strategy that will deliver the strategic objectives for IS Mozambique as provided by the executive (in-country and IS Group)
- Gather market information from multiple sources, to analyze competition and market trends.
- Articulate solution portfolio and position business value to customers
- Planning of team sales activity to ensure execution of strategy.
- Accurate and detailed reporting / forecasting (monthly) in line with IS & DD Group requirements
Execution
- Achieve assigned country monthly/annual sales target through the effective management of the sales people and resources
- Proactively understanding client churn threats, and actively managing revenue risk.
- Assist the sales team to define the way they approach the market and achieve set targets.
- Plan and manage sales team to ensure growth of revenue across the full portfolio of services, and the penetration of new named accounts
- Proactively manage and build pipeline activity with the sales team to support recommended growth strategy
- Manage day-to-day operations and oversight of the sales team, including setting and managing sales targets, creating and executing sales plans
- Effective reporting of team activities in the required forums as/when required
- Ensuring all pipeline and forecast activity is accurately recorded in Siebel
- Ensure effective use of all Marketing provided collateral and internal assets
- Coordinate sales activity in Mozambique to ensure a consistent go-to-market approach is followed
Requisites
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with relevant Management and Technical post degree qualifications
- 08 - 10 - years work experience. At least 6 years sales management experience
- Consistent history of meeting/exceeding quota and pipeline expectation
- Clear track record of leading a team to close large/complex sales opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate customer benefits
- Executive presence and demeanor with consultative approach
- Market knowledge
