AGS Moçambique is hiring a Sales Representative for Maputo.

Duties
  • The Sales Representative serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction and ensuring quality services, developing relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities
  • Client communication, conflict resolution and compliance with client deliverables and budgets
  • Maintaining and developing existing relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conducting on-site client surveys
  • To use client and prospect contact activity tools and systems
  • Responding to and following up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods
  • To record, analyse, report and administer activities according to systems and requirements
  • Attending and presenting at external and internal client meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid in business development
Requisites
  • On a professional level, the candidate will have a relevant bachelor’s degree coupled with 1-2 years’ previous experience in the international removals/relocations, real estate, logistics or shipping industry in a similar position
  • The candidate must have experience and be willing to work in a highly competitive and pressurised environment with irregular working hours, being able to plan and manage multiple responsibilities at the same time through excellent problem solving skills and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Self-motivated, driven and results-orientated individuals with a positive outlook and a focus on high quality and business profit will perform well in this role which is suited to someone who has a strong desire to build a career in sales
  • The Sales Representative must be willing to learn and develop, being able to work both
  • individually and as part of a team to accomplish goals
  • The ideal incumbent will have an exceptional client satisfaction orientation and highly developed customer service skills, building client loyalty, thinking out of the box and going above and beyond to meet clients’ needs and expectations
  • A flexible and resilient nature and proven experience in managing and continuously developing a client portfolio is essential
  • The Sales Representative must have professional confidence, be a skilled negotiator and be comfortable in dealing with company executives
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is essential (additional Language fluency will be advantageous) as well as computer literacy (especially in MS Office)
