Senior Manager Production (m/f)

Duties

• Secure that production contributes to the increase of the business growth
• Align shutdowns and equipment outage with the value chain to maximize business performances
• Ascertain compliance to safety and legal requirements at all times. Highlight and report to leadership on non-conformity and propose corrective actions
• Lead and manage a production team daily activities to enable the achievement of excellent operations
• Liaise and interface with service departments. Guarantee operation of equipment within OWAP
• Govern all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between department and service departments and monitor costs against set budget
• Devise, adopt, and enhance operations philosophies and design organizational structures for the PSA facilities
• Establish and execute recruitment strategies, commissioning, and plans for PSA facilities
• Formulate and enact training and development plans for new staff of PSA facilities
• Oversee the development of training material for new recruits
• Monitor advertisement, recruitment, appointment, and mobilization of incumbents for PSA facilities
• Ascertain the establishment of and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the PSA facilities.
• Build and adopt emergency response procedures
• Deliver to contractual agreement on behalf of the PSA on time and in adherence to agreed SLAs
• Apply evidence-based SHE practices in alignment with set standards for safe operations
• Implement Group's risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework
• Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to enable the achievement of high production levels compliant with required standards
• Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals
• Manage team performance and development formally and informally based on standard practices in use across the Group
• Identify and activate learning as required based on individual and collective needs
• Nurture a team spirit and openness towards feedback, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation

Requisites

• Post Graduate Honours Degree in Engineering or related field
• 12+ relevant years
