Aldelia is recruiting a Senior Specialist Compliance & Governance (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
Strategic functional management
- Ensure alignment of group governance, ethics, SOX and compliance initiatives, systems and processes to upstream business
- Compliance and ethics training plan in place to reflect upstream business requirements including operated and non operated ventures' as well as new ventures requirements. Ensure compliance training plan and training content support strategic direction of the business Execution of training plan on global level. List of employees and contractors trained available. Ensure upstream compliance processes and practices are aligned globally to support the business
- Non compliance incidents are reported, recorded, tracked, trend analysis done and corrective action to address
- Facilitate internal audits, validate findings and ensure internal control corrective actions are implemented and embedded 80%
- Corrective actions are managed and implemented and contribute to a stable internal control environment
- Active management of governance and compliance in the business to embed best practice
- Coordinate input to internal governance committee and other governance forums; and regular assurance reporting to Exco
Compliance and risk management
- All compliance plans and related activities of E&PI implemented and executed with support from group compliance office
- Ensure Trade association process is effectively managed and memberships are reported. Also to optimize the process to ensure cost management in trade associations. Ensure compliance to the trade association policy as governed by the CoE. This includes having registers in place of all employees belonging to associations and also facilitating the clearance process of approved associations
Stakeholder management
- Build and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders in the Sasol Group
- Facilitate implementation of all new governance processes as part of Project Phoenix Reporting to various
- Sasol Group stakeholders in support of the Group’s governance and assurance strategy
- Effective relationships and expedient delivery of strategic, compliance, leadership, management and innovation outputs
- Submission of reports as required to Group as well as relevant governance structures internal
- Develop, implement and maintain a deviation and concession system for appropriate waving/bypassing of compliance and governance requirements
Requisites
- University Bacherlor's Degree
