Senior Specialist – Internal Audit

Vodacom is recruiting a Senior Specialist – Internal Audit, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Assist with the preparation of the Annual Audit Plan for Vodacom Mozambique
• Execute the approved Annual Audit Plan
• Manage audit projects
• Ensure that audits are performed in accordance with the approved Group Internal Audit methodology
• Compile Audit Reports
• Ensure that Follow-up is Conducted as per Group Internal Audit Methodology
• Ensure Quality of Audits (Review Audit Work and Reports)
• Evaluate and provide reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organisation’s objectives and goals to be met
• Report risk management issues and internal control deficiencies identified and provide recommendations for improving the organisation’s operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance
• Provide Consulting
• Manage Relationships with client departments
• Keep abreast of internal audit (IT) developments
• Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures
• Evaluate regulatory compliance program with consultation from legal department
• Team with other internal and external resources as appropriate
• Provide support to the company\'s anti-fraud programs
• Manage audit projects
• Follow-up on outstanding issues conducted

Requisites

• University degree in audit or similar
• A relevant post graduate degree\\diploma will also be an added advantage
• 4-7 years audit experience (at least 3 years in Computer Auditing)
• Internal Audit Practices
• Relevant Frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO17799\\BS27001, etc)
• Systems of Internal Controls
• Relevant laws (ECT act, etc)
• Internal Audit Standards & Professional Ethics
• Subject Matter Expert
• Enterprise Risk Management
• Problem solving and analysis ability
• Planning and organising skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (English and Portuguese)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft excel, Access, SQL and large amounts of data;
• Analytical skills
• Time Management
