Senior Specialist Technical Sales

Vodacom is recruiting a Senior Specialist Technical Sales, to be based in Beira.

Duties

• Perform role of interface between customer, commercial and technical entities by translating between business requirements and technical specifications
• Respond with autonomy to business and wholesale customer queries as per request for information (RFI) and request for technical and commercial proposal (RFP) documents
• Generate new customers and ensure monthly targets
• Provide high level assistance and support prior to solution implementation, during solution implementation and post solution implementation, ensuring with other internal sectors the accomplishment of KPI’s and Customer retention
• Build and maintain productive relationships with key clients and internal groups within the company
• Deliver presentations to customers on existing and emerging technologies as well as the benefits or impact of these on customers
• Conduct research on and keep abreast of ICT (Information, Communication & Technology) trends to identify new product and service opportunities
• Utilize solution design experience and expertise to provide input into and create architecture for new product and service development
• Research customer commercial offerings and the competitive situation in order to assist in the development of strong marketing initiatives
• Regularly meet with the internal parties; e.g. Products and Engineering teams in order to understand roadmaps, technology strategies and product strategies
• Generate activity and other needed reports and send to line manager on time agreed

Requisites

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Management or Equivalent
• Business acumen and ICT awareness
• More than 3 years of relevant experience in Sales and ICT
• Customer relations experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
