Aldelia is recruiting a Skills Transfer and Personnel Logistics Lead (m/f), to be based in Temane, Mozambique.
Duties
- Lead by example in creation of safe working conditions through implementation of the company SHE Management plan and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practice
- Drive company Life Saving Rules, High Severity Incident program and overall, SHE Performance within MERIC
- Implement and develop company Mozambique Skills Transfer program in MERIC campaign
- Develop training, mentorship and competency assurance programs for company staff and direct hire personnel
- Work with service companies to ensure that their skills transfer program are developed in-line with company requirements
- Conduct first level assurance of service company programs
- Present status of skills transfer program to company and other stakeholder management
- Lead daily progress and task allocation meetings with ILS provider and contractor
- Agree and monitor the ILS maintenance and inspection program with to ensure suitable maintenance and serviceability of all personnel vehicles
- Administration of journey management process and plans
- Conduct first level assurance of ILS to ensure conformity with the agreed procedures
- Prepare and distribute operational and management reporting of personnel status and movements into, within and out of field
- Manage supply base room allocation
- Develop and implement project specific personnel movement plans and procedures
- Emergency Response Plan duties as assigned by the FOM
Requisites
- 10+ year’s logistics experience within an upstream Oil and Gas environment
- 10+ years of experience working on well delivery projects
- 10+ year’s exposure to Supply Base and Camp Management operations
- 10+ year’s exposure to remote land-based operations
- 5-10 years of experience in implementation of skills transfer/nationalization programs
- 5-10 years working in multinational teams
- Experience in development of competency management programs advantageous
- Understanding of technical well operations and associated services required
- Safety leadership, proven ability to lead by example in building high performing SHE culture
- Performance management, commitment to continuous improvement in SHE and operational performance
- Leadership, proven ability to lead teams and performance manage personnel
- Influencing, ability to influence and challenge effectively at all levels with an open and constructive style
- In-depth understanding of multinational work forces
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a matrix organization
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation and report writing skills
- Strong IT skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of SharePoint, AGR iQx and web based logistics management systems required
- Fluency in English and Portuguese required
