Aldelia is recruiting a Specialist Stakeholder Relations (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
  • Contribute and advice on the planning, execution and evaluation of stakeholder engagement activities and assist in the development of these activities for key company audiences in Mozambique
  • Develop briefing messages consistent with company’s objectives to support stakeholder relations activities
  • Analyze relevant sources such as academic and financial sectors reports, media, and intelligence from company contacts to identify and track stakeholder interests and concerns
  • Contribute to the development and execution of measurement tools, relationship management tools, and other forms of analysis to better understand the needs of stakeholders
  • Lead the file of stakeholder correspondence with the Government, Communities and the Private Sector and keep the track record of responses and actions
  • Plan and coordinate specific stakeholder consultation events and activities
  • Provide support to special projects across the Mozambique teams with stakeholder initiatives and outreach activities, and give advice on best practices for stakeholder relationship management, as necessary
  • Network with other departments and relationship owners to keep abreast of current issues, ongoing activities with stakeholder engagement, and to understand key messages in relation to other departments and update the engagement report
Requisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Public Relations or related field
  • Three to five years of relevant experience and fluent in both Portuguese and English
