Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Store Keeper, to be based in Beira.
Duties
- Execution of all day to day and monthly stock count in the warehouse
- Carry out with inventory and determine the re-ordering levels
- Perform breakdown repairs where necessary
- Observe and make recommendations to the Technical Manager on any nonconformity issues and potential problems
- Be proactive in reporting potential issues
- Carry out daily cycle counts checks on where house as per company required
- Ensure full compliance with PPE and safety measures established in the terminal by the maintenance team
- Maintain housekeeping standard across the warehouse
- Assist with investigating any accidents & incidents and implement actions to prevent re-occurrence in warehouse area
- Ensure that tools and equipment are used in a safe and appropriate manner during day to day work
- Take part and contribute to regular safety workshops
- Ensure any waste products generated during warehouse activities are disposed in accordance with site procedures
- Provide technical training of personnel assigned to you during your daily works
- Provide technical direction and review the performance of the personnel assigned to you. Manage and control the budgets
- Provide the stock records and monthly reports
Requisites
- Stock Management or Accounting honors degree
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience on stock & stores controller, and accounting especially in port environment, or in a similar capacity and role in Africa
- Practical experience of carrying out stock staking and control and stock movement activities in an industrial environment
- Practical experience of maintaining warehouse stock
- A thorough understanding of industry standard safety regulations
- Analytical & troubleshooting experience in a process environment
- Ability to understand and speak English and Portuguese
- Ability to manage a group of people
- Must own basic organizational and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of computer software to include, but not limited to, word-processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation packages, i.e., Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with SAP Business one system
- Good decision making capability
- Ability to work independently
