Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the
position Strategic Content Coordination (SCC) Specialist
Duties
- The SCC Specialist works under the supervision of the Public Affairs Officer (PAO) or PAO
designee and supervises three locally employed staff: the Digital Production Coordinator, the
Community Management Coordinator, and the Press and Media Coordinator.
- Oversees online
public engagement through the Mission’s digital properties (social media, mobile) as well as the
selection and production of strategic content for distribution in multiple digital and traditional
formats to Mozambican audience groups.
- Develops the policies, procedures, and guidelines
necessary for Mission use of evolving digital technologies.
- Coordinates Public Diplomacy
strategic planning, audience research, and program evaluation and measurement.
- Develops on-
the-job training for Mission staff participating in online engagement as well as policies,
procedures, and guidelines for external Mission communication in crisis situations.
