The U.S. Embassy is recruiting a Strategic Information Program Officer, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- The Strategic Information Program Specialist will serve as a member of the Monitoring & Evaluation team within the CDC/Mozambique office
- Main duties of the position include complex data analyses, development of pivot table data sets, reports, charts, and graphs using data results related to HIV/AIDS activities and to also provide technical assistance to CDC implementing partners and CDC technical staff in the monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS programs
Requisites
- Bachelor’s level degree in Public Health, Statistics, Informatics and Mathematics or health field from an accredited institution is required
- At least two years’ experience in complex data analysis, data report development, using computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, SAS, SQL, design and implementation of indicators for monitoring & evaluation, and/or health management information systems required
- Level III English (fluency, reading/speaking/writing is required). (Will be tested)
- Level IV Portuguese (good working knowledge, reading/speaking/writing is required). (Will be tested)
