Supply and Distribution Manager

Heading is recruiting a Supply and Distribution Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• The incumbent will be responsible for the Management of Supply & Logistics Operations in Mozambique to ensure cost effective supply of all Petroleum products
• Manage and ensure the adequacy and cost effectiveness of the procurement, storage and distribution of all core and non-core petroleum products to ensure on going availability in line with business requirements and to maintain the integrity of the Company
• He/She will also be responsible for Customer/Stakeholder engagement, Procurement, Inventory management, Managing the distribution network, Market intelligence and Performance Management

Requisites

• BSC in Mechanical Engineering
• Or Degree in Logistics, Finance, Administration (with considerable experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managerial position
• At least 2 years of Supply Chain/Logistics Management
• Petroleum industry regulatory framework
• Negotiation and good problem solving skills
• Detailed knowledge of HSEQ local requirements
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
