Aldelia is recruiting a Supply Officer (3 months short-term), to be based in Maputo, Cabo Delgado, Tete and Nampula, Mozambique.

Duties
- Help prepare the tender preparation work. This means: (a) spend analysis and opportunity grouping of parts packages; (b) development of selection criteria and coaching end users in selection criteria weighting; and tender package documentation generation
- Conduct tender documentation document control, distribution control, version control and vendor communications, responses and recording
- Help conduct tender participant briefings
- Help manage incoming responses, again execute document and version control
- Assist in the tender analysis and assist coaching end users in their roles
- Assist in preparation of tender result recommendations
- Preparation of tender closure letters, feedback, and closure
- Assist in preparation of Supply contracts arising from the approved tender results
Requisites
- A recognizable level of tertiary education in inventory or stock control point management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management in remote localities in the African business environment in the mining or oil and gas industries
- Strong mechanical and electrical background
- Effective knowledge and demonstrable aptitude in MS Office suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of end to end procure to pay processing systems in general and Pronto, in particular, will be highly desirable
