Fintrac is a leading US-based agriculture consulting firm with projects in Africa, Asia and Central America. We are currently recruiting senior technical and managerial staff for an upcoming, multi-year, USAID- funded Feed the Future project in Mozambique. The project will focus on increasing smallholder incomes through strengthened agribusinesses and supply chains for priority food and cash crops.
Requisites
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in agriculture, particularly with pulses, oilseeds, cashews, horticulture, with specific knowledge of Mozambique
- Experience providing technical leadership, particularly relating to relevant technology transfer to small farmers and producer groups
- Advanced degree in agronomy, veterinary science, agriculture marketing or related field and experience with donor-funded programs desired
- Spoken competency in English and Portuguese is required
- Previous private sector employment within the Mozambican or regional agriculture sector is a plus
