Technical Planner

PRI is recruiting a Technical Planner, to be based in Tete.

Duties

• Responsible for all planned maintenance and repair interventions on site including planning of all the resources required to ensure an effective and efficient intervention
• Plan and schedule of all planned maintenance interventions on site, including weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance plans
• Compile weekly and monthly site performance KPI’s and distribute the information to the relevant personnel
• Manage on site WIP, work order closing and work order history
• Planning, prioritizing and initiation of jobs
• Assist with achievement of KPI’s
• Ability to apply Warranty policies and procedures
• Resolve internal and external customer queries
• Issuing of job instructions to and dispatch of Artisans
• Arrange appropriate transport
• Control returning of component stands

Requisites

• Grade 12
• Technical qualification – Mechanical
• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Project Management as a plus
• Exposure to business planning and budgeting processes
• Basic business and financial acumen
• Sound business communication and presentation skills
• Sound MS Office knowledge
• Microsoft Project knowledge as a plus
• Knowledge of machine technical diagnosis systems
• Knowledge and experience in SAP or similar software
• Sound numerical reasoning
• Solid problem solving skills
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese languages
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar position
• Availability to travel
• Mozambican Nationality
• Age: 30 to 40
