Tetra Tech ARD, a leading international development consulting firm based in Burlington, Vermont and Washington, D.C., is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified technical experts for the Coastal City Adaptation Program (CCAP), an anticipated USAID-funded program designed to increase urban coastal resiliency to climate change by incorporating climate change into their planning processes and undertaking adaptive measures in response to capacity building activities, performance-based incentives and public advocacy in targeted municipalities.
This is a 5-year program. Mozambique citizens and regional candidates are encouraged to apply. Long and short term positions are available.
Deputy Chief of Party/Senior Technical Advisor
- Master’s Degree in urban planning, natural resources management, environmental studies, civil engineering, public administration or another relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, or other relevant experience
- Fluency in Portuguese and English required
Community Engagement Specialist
- Graduate degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 additional years of community mobilization engagement experience
- At least 5 years community mobilization/engagement or similar experience
- Fluency in Portuguese required and English preferred
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
- Master’s Degree in urban planning, natural resources management, environmental studies, civil engineering, public administration or another relevant field or a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 additional years of experience in the above areas
- Demonstrated experience monitoring and evaluating programs, especially in climate change adaptation or disaster risk reduction areas
- Fluency in Portuguese and English required
