Global Edge Consultants is recruiting a Transactional Sales professional, to be based in Pemba.
Duties
- Overall goal is to support the sales effort and revenue of the assigned group while learning the company’s sales goals, objectives and procedures in order to grow into a full time sales position
- Typically reports to Business Development Director but supports the overall team and process
- Receives constant supervision and training in order to accelerate their learning and growth within the organization
- Assists Sales Development in growing their assigned territory or product line
- Assists Sales Personnel on sales calls, internal & external customer alignments, client reviews, field and market research and pricing calculations, proposals and quality meeting follow up
- Monitors accounts receivable activity as needed
- Produces and analyses various sales statistics and reports activity and trends to sales and key management
- Directly responsible to identify, promote and conclude transactional sales in assigned region
- Directly responsible for all assigned RFP’s, RFQ’s and RFI’s
- Directly responsible for all assigned sales goals and customer support
- Other duties as designated by the Business Development Director
Requisites
- College degree preferred
- 0 - 3 years’ experience in sales or construction equipment industry
- Accounting experience preferred
- Computer Skills: Moderate to high
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Mathematical aptitude
- Strong analytical ability
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Ability to travel regionally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- All valid documentation to work in Mozambique
