Capital Outsourcing Group is hiring a VIP System Payroll Manager for Tete.
Duties
- Manage the payroll department within your organisation
- Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data
- Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers
- Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of pay checks or electronic transfers to bank accounts
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages
- Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer\'s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments
- Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
- Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
- Maintains payroll staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintains payroll staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requisites
- High knowledge in the VIP Payroll System
- High knowledge in Mozambique Labour Laws
- Relevant experience in the field and VIP System
- Speaks, reads and writes English fluently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and strong analytic skills required
- Strong employee relations experience and a full understanding of current employment legislation
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in fast paced environment and to be able to adapt to change quickly
- The ability to work autonomous and as part of a team
- Driving licence
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong leadership skills
