Web Engineer (m/f)

Duties

• Build responsive Web Interfaces that can adjust to Desktop and Mobile web browsers
• Create the interface using state of the art HTML, CSS and JS
• Integrate with the backend using REST
• Leverage the existing web development patterns to create high-performance web sites
• Thoroughly test the developed sites
• Integrate unit testing, automated testing and monitoring into Web apps
• Work closely with product management, other software engineers and quality teams on feature definition and release milestones
• Develop using agile SW development methodology

Requisites

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science/Engineering
• A minimum of 2 years experience with Web development
• Knowledge about React frameworks
• Experience with software design patterns for Web development
• Knowledge about server-side architectures
• Experience in running performance tests
• Proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, Web code optimization for speed and responsiveness REST and JSON
• Experience with Git or SVN
• Java experience is a plus
• Problem-solving skills Self-motivated and able to multitask
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
