Heading is recruiting for its client, a Technical Governance Support and Stakeholder Relations Specialist (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
Purpose
- Assist the Technical Director in coordinating the relationship and interface with government authorities as well as internal stakeholders for the pursuit of the company ́s operational activities
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Ensure and support that communication and interface between the government and the company are well coordinated and dealt with promptly, following the company ́s business principles, strategy and country ́s regulations
- Overall management of internal and external interfacing according to the scope and schedule
- Interface support between technical units and various external stakeholders when necessary
- Support the permits and licensing activities, facilitating necessary authority approval process by continuously engaging with the relevant government authorities
- Participate in the drafting of various documents to the government
- Facilitate the Interface with various stakeholders from government and private entities as well as project partners as necessary
- Assist the Technical department in preparing presentations and communications to various technical stakeholders under the direction of the Technical Director
- Coordination with other departments in transversal matters related to the interfacing with a wide range of government authorities
- Ensure overall interface management with multiple stakeholders across various Company activities
Requisites
- Significant experience relevant to the role
- Graduate/University degree (priority) in the relevant domain or higher qualification
- English Language competence is required
