Business Connexion (BCX) is hiring an Account Executive for Maputo.
Duties
- Ensure that responsibility is taken for the delivery of IS service functions
- Frequently monitor and maintain the services to ensure they are managed to high levels of quality, standards and operability as defined within negotiated and agreed service level agreements, service level parameters or contracts
- Effectively advise and influence business clients regarding the delivery, costs, availability and functionality of services and systems
- Develop effective partnerships with suppliers and customers
- Ensure that service level agreements, contracts and negotiations, with both internal and external IS suppliers, are aimed at meeting the business needs of the employing organisation by providing a value for money service in terms of standards, quality, efficiency, safety, performance and cost effectiveness
- Make certain that responsibility is taken for the financial and staffing aspects of operational management, service delivery and project management as well as the full range of technical considerations involved
- Ensure that responsibility is taken for setting targets, monitoring performance, and managing the service in an efficient and effective manner, for a service delivery function or department
- Successfully implement the necessary processes and procedures to maintain or recover the delivery of systems and services in the event of any physical, technical or environmental disaster or major outage, providing continuity of service to the employing organization
- Business Development
- Develop an effective client strategy as per the MSA methodology
- Formally review and communicate the client strategy to the relevant parties in alignment with Company’s standards
- Monitor progress against the client strategy on an ongoing basis
- Selling
- Effectively manage the sales activities to meet agreed targets and corporate objectives within the agreed budgets
- New sales leads are prospected for, with prospective clients and existing sales leads are developed by developing recognition of clients’ business needs and exploring how these can be met by Company products and/or services
- Negotiate with client representatives, on both technical and commercial issues, to reach mutually acceptable terms for appropriate forms of sales agreements
- Pro-actively facilitate the Project Qualification Process (PQP) and qualify projects based on client or Company strategy, Company offerings and/or financial viability
- Design sales targets to meet Company objectives and plans and implement sales campaigns to meet these sales targets
- Manage Accounts
- Monitor the level of client satisfaction at regular intervals or after each significant delivery of product or service
- Promptly respond to clients’ queries and complaints
- Ensure corrective action is taken as and when necessary
- Encourage clients to take part in the continuous improvement of the products and services supplied to them
- Create, identify and respond to, opportunities for providing products and services to the client organisation
- Recommend and encourage changes in the clients organisation’s use of the products and services supplied so as to increase the benefits the clients obtains from them and to ensure client retention
- Ensure that the management of the client organisation plans and budgets for the products and services supplied in the coming few years
- Execute planning and resourcing for business that one expects to achieve with the client organisation
