Aldelia is recruiting an Administrative Assistant (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Prepare and ensure distribution of administrative correspondence
- Receive accounting documents and classify them in accordance with the procedure set out
- Transmit invoices to Finance for authorization for payment
- Check invoices after approval by the internal departments of the company
- Check expense reports and requests for advance payment
- Enter bank transactions into the blotters and assist in the bank account reconciliations
- Manage the petty cash and enter cash documents into the cash blotters
- Perform cash book balances under the supervision of the Administration and Financial Manager
- Scan accounting documents (Invoices – Requests for Advance Payments – Purchase Orders – Delivery Notes, Expense Reports, Orders, Checks, Cash Payments, Advance Payments, Transfer Orders, etc.) and send them to the Accounting Office in accordance with the conditions set out
- File and optimize the social security and tax returns
- Conduct month-end inventories (Stock, capital assets)
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and monthly reviews related to the activities of the company in order to submit them to the management & Financial Controllers and CFO
Requisites
- Bachelor degree in Administration, Management or related area
- 3 years of experience in similar roles
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular EXCEL
- Solid writing skills
