Boilermarker Mechanic

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Boilermarker Mechanic, to be based in Beira.

Duties

• Provide fabrication and welding to the Company
• Operate the respective equipment in a Safe and efficient manner
• Responsibility for ensuring that any equipment used is safe and operational
• Use recognised techniques for cutting, grinding, welding & fabrication of metal components
• Provide advice on the required equipment
• Provide advice to the Company on work which needs to be carried out
• Perform in such a way that any harm or damage to the goods is avoided
• Report any damage or accident made during the operation
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly machine and work area
• Advise Company Management on required stock levels of materials
• Carry out any other duties ordered by his superior

Requisites

• Minimum 3 years previous experience
• Coded Welder certificate or similar preferred
• Physically fit with good eyesight
• Be able to read and work from Technical Drawings
• Good knowledge of spoken & written English & Portuguese
• Be able to work under pressure
• Be able to multi-task
• Great attention to detail
