Branch Manager (m/f)

Description

• The branch manager will be responsible for supervising and managing a bank branch. He will oversee financial reporting, hire and train staff, and grow branch revenue. Duties include managing and supervising employees, assisting customers, and providing excellent customer service

Duties

• Identify, evaluate and manage strategic risks and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures
• Increase the overall productivity of the branch by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities
• Maintain fruitful relationships with current customers and establish good relationships with new ones
• Develop and oversee sales and marketing strategies
• Manage daily operations, especially customer service and finance activities, and make improvements as needed
• Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans

Requisites

• University degree in Accounting & Audit, Management or related areas
• Leadership/team work/flexibility/team development
• Assertive and with initiative
• Strong analytical capacity
• Ability to work under pressure
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Proven minimum experience of 5 years, preferably in a banking institution or microfinance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent IT Skills
• Emotional Intelligence assessment
