Global Edge Consultants is hiring a Business Development Manager for Maputo.
Duties
- The first objectives is to sell the company’s Site service (construction rental equipment, small tools, and construction support service) to local , regional and / or multinational contractors and owners, seeking to execute large capital projects
- The second objective is to drive the sales of the company’s Fleet Management Service to owners and users of construction and industrial equipment assets such as lights/heavy vehicles, construction/ mining equipment, Utility fleets, and tools
- The third objective is to sell short term, transactional rental
Requisites
- Tertiary education preferred
- Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in high level sales to the construction / mining industry
- Computer Skills: Fully conversant with Word, Excel and Power Point
- Self starter
- Ability to work without daily supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills, both internal and with clientsTeam player
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Valid drivers’ license and passport
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- All valid documentation to work in Mozambique
