Business Intelligence Officer (m/f)

Description

• PSI/Mozambique is looking for a business and data analytics Officer who uses Power BI to be the local Power BI administrator, perform dynamic dashboards and visualizing its data to make timely business decisions; Provide monitoring and evaluation support to PSI Mozambique projects, responsible for leading a dynamic approach towards adaptive program management through evidenced based insights; Manage an interdisciplinary team to collect insights from the target audience and adjust programs accordingly

Duties

M&E Frameworks

• Ensure M&E systems are in place to capture key performance indicators
• Use and interpreted data to course correct and improve managerial action and strategy in real time.
• Manage the planning and development of designing and procedures for metrics reports
• Optimize data collection procedures and generate reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Develop, test and refine interventions
• Use interactive techniques to gain insights and use evidence-based insights to inform programming

M&E Capacity Building

• Strengthen PSI/Mozambique staff and partners’ capacity to collect complete, accurate and reliable data
• Build the capacity of PSI staff and partners on M&E (target & baseline setting, performance indicators, data collection tools, data quality control etc.) to improve monitoring of project activities
• Coordinate short term technical assistance (STTA) on M&E related tasks

Requisites

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or similar
• Demonstrated experience in reporting tools, data analysis, and facilitation of use of data for decision-making
• Ability to work with MIS systems and processes (especially Power BI)
• Working proficiency in English
• Experience working with Sexual and Reproductive Health programs is an added advantage
