Coating Engineer

Heading is recruiting a Coating Engineer, to be based in Veral Places, Mozambique.

Duties

• Review and approve Coating & Painting Procedure Specifications
• Provide continuous technical support, troubleshooting and technical solutions
• Provide technical support for the evaluation of Contractor's NCRs, TQs, etc

Requisites

• Preferred degree in chemical engineering
• Technical diploma Certified NACE level III or as alternative: NS/476/Frosio Level 3
• Fluent knowledge of english
• IT: good knowledge of MS Office Package
• Facilities: excellent knowledge of painting & coating application techniques, good knowledge of coating engineering, good knowledge of coating inspection and paint systems qualifications requirements, good knwoledge of external and internal anticorrosion protection for buried and submerged pipelines,excellent knowledge of coating and painting main International Standards (e.g.: ISO, NORSOK, NACE, etc.)
• Quality: good knowledge of QA/QC Coating Management Systems
• HSE: basic knowledge of construction and commissioning HSE requirements and standards implementation
