Aldelia is recruiting a Comercial Manager (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
- The Commercial Manager is responsible for achieving the annual sales revenue budget by designing and managing an effective demand creation (marketing) and demand-supply (route to market and logistics) strategy
- The Commercial Manager optimizes pricing, channel mix, product mix, logistics and staff costs within mandated levels to maximize EBITDA and has a data-based understanding of the market, competitor activity and customer/consumer behaviour
Duties
- Responsible for defining the Customer Service Promise (CSP) through all key moments of truth covering prospecting
- Account development, order management, delivery, merchandising, and customer relationship management
- Directs and Controls marketing activations and promotional campaigns across the full product suite
- Develops and executes volume plans from a channel, brand, pack, and price and executes on discount mandates
- Ensures Cost-Benefit Analysis completion on promotion activity and when appropriate gains Exco Support
- Drives route to market efficiencies through order generation, account development, merchandising, distribution and training
- Manages related distributors
- Ensures a high level of corporate governance across all commercial teams and meets the highest ethical standards
- Manages merchandising activities and planning
Requisites
- B.com Post Graduate/Honours or equivalent in the Animal Husbandry
- Experience in Commercial Poultry Industry - FMCG specifically; Sales, Marketing, Route to Market, Merchandising and Logistics
