Aldelia is recruiting a Contract Administrator (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Ensure the monitoring of the spent against the administrative contract value
- Maintains contact and follows correspondence with the awarded contractor, ensuring traceability and involving, if necessary, all relevant functions
- Verify Contractor compliance with Contract Terms and Conditions, Scope of Work, Deliverables and Schedule, and report to CH any deviation or missing part Analyses any requests for changes to the contract and disputes arising during the execution phase, in particular verifying their admissibility under the terms of the contract
- Verifies the admissibility of any claims and the applicability of any penalties or volume discounts provided for in the contract
- To ensure that all aspects of the contract are complied with in an auditable manner and that cost, schedule and HSE risks are minimized
- Ensure all required guarantees, insurance and tax certificates have been received from the Contractor as required and report to CH any deviation or missing part
Requisites
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of which a minimum of 3 years as a Contract Administrator
- Experience in working directly/indirectly with an Oil and Gas company
- Good knowledge of the post award contract management process: application and development of the process according to with regulatory system
- Knowledge of pre-award activities: Procurement planning and management – Requisitions – Bid Evaluations – Knowledge of various types of contracts and different Procurement Strategies
- Civil law and contractual requirements: Regulation of contract/subcontracts – Health Safety and Environment – Safety at worksites – Technical Specifications and standards
- Contract Terms and Conditions – International Petroleum Agreements
- Economics: Cost analysis and purchase pricing – Financial Evaluations – Cost estimating – Budgeting – Cost analysis and control – comparative economic evaluations
