Heading Human Resources is looking for a Corporate Affaires General Manager for Africa for a Multinational client, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- The Manger will have the mandate and authority to provide hands-on support with the CA departments at sites/operations throughout the Africa Region, which will oversee, in the development, implementation and measurement of CA strategies, policies and action plans
- Management of the CA Africa Staff
- Management of external consultants and a budget
- Management of the interface between Vale and Key Regional Associations
- Management and development of the Africa Region CA strategic planning workshop
Requisites
- 12 years of experience in similar positions
- Graduate in relevant Areas
- Significant knowledge and comprehensive understanding of policy making processes and government legislative bodies across multiple jurisdictions
- Fluency in Portuguese and English, knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset1
