Total is recruiting a CSO/NGO, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Ensure broad based awareness and understanding of the oil and gas industry, AMA1 and MozLNG development plans and activities and environmental and social management
- Develop broad-based knowledge and awareness of CSO-extractive industry relationships, including the interests of key CSOs and key issues
- Establish and maintain functional positive relations with key national, provincial and district civil society and non-government organizations
- Develop and manage the implementation of the agreed CSO/NGO engagement schedule including management invitations, logistics, and reporting
- Document and report on CSO/NGO engagement on an on-going basis
Requisites
- Relevant University degree preferably in Social Sciences, Media and Communications or Political Affairs or other relevant areas
- A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant working experience, with proven track record of stakeholder engagement, networking, demonstrable establishment and maintenance of relationships in multi-stakeholder environments, preferably involving CSO/NGOs
- Prior experience working in multi-stakeholder environment, government affairs and/or communications and media would be an advantage
- Prior work experience in extractive industries would be an advantage
