Chemonics is recruiting a Data Analytics Associate, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
- The overall goal of GHSC-PSM is to procure and provide health commodities for all USAID health programs, including but not limited to, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Family Planning, Maternal & Child Health, and Nutrition as well as provide systems strengthening technical assistance to improve supply chain management and commodity security in Mozambique
- The Data Analytics Associate will be primarily responsible for aggregating and systematizing the data for, the Logistics Management Information Systems, to support data-driven decision making for the Forecast Supply and Distribution Planning with CMAM, National Heath Programs and Quantification Technical working groups
Duties
- Maintaining critical data and information for the Forecast Supply and Distribution Planning activities, Quantification and Supply Planning exercises; Specifically, distribution, consumption, stock-on-hand expiries data and from the existing LMIS and other information sources
- Support the FSDP team to analyze and identify the consumption trends and develop consumption scenarios to each commodity area
- Maintaining the PipeLine software commodities prices updated for all procurement sources
- Support the documentation of the entire process of forecasting and supply planning, and present the results to stakeholder groups as necessary; Maintain an archive of past forecast and supply plan exercise results in the SharePoint
- In collaboration with the M&E team, maintain an early warning system for the primary problems and gaps that will affect the availability and access to the commodities
- Support the development and establishment of Demand Planning and Quantification SOPs for CMAM and the Job Aids for Quantification sub groups and commodity area
- In collaboration with the M&E team maintaining the data needed to report the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the FSDP including the forecast accuracy, stock according to plan in the different levels of the supply chain
- Support the FSDP team to update the supply plan at least quarterly and the forecast at least annually and as needed for major changes in anticipated consumption
- Perform other tasks as directed by Director of Forecasting, Supply, Distribution and Planning
- Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all office rules and procedures as set forth in the field office policy manual
- Support achievement of the overall project goals as required to ensure project performance
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working on a USAID or donor-funded project required
- Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English is required
