Electrical Supervisor

Twigg Exploration & Mining is recruiting a Electrical Supervisor, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.

Duties

• Responsible for maintaining the maintenance systems and procedures required for the Balama Operations Process Plant including – Preventative Maintenance Systems, contributing to the Shutdown Programs, Continuous Improvement, Spares & Parts Management, Contractor Management & Engagement
• Implement and comply with the HSE Policies, procedures and standards applicable to the Balama Operation
• Assist in the maintenance of Insurance, Rotable, Operating and Electrical spares as per the company guidelines
• Ensure that any Rotable or Electrical spares are cleaned, documented and communicated to the planning department, ready for repair on or off site
• Establish a culture of working safely within the Balama Operations and contribute to the achievement of the Balama Operations KPIs for HSE
• Report all incidents, health anomalies and workplace health hazards via the approved Incident and Hazard Reporting procedures
• Minimising delays through rapid response to breakdown events
• Continually monitor the condition of the plant and readily address all issues
• Contribute to and help develop quality and accurate Planned Shutdown Schedules
• Ensure safe, timely and reliable execution of shutdown work

Requisites

• Qualified Electrician
• 5 + years Electrical supervisory experience in mineral processing/heavy industry
  Flotation/Milling/Filtration experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing preventative & shutdown maintenance strategies in a processing environment
• Plant start-up and commissioning experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks and competing deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively with team members
