US Embassy is recruiting a Employee Training Development Specialist, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- This position manages the Post language programs (English and Portuguese) and employee professional development
- Position will direct employees to outside or other department training and courses help develop curriculum, and schedule classes
- This position will develop a schedule for language instructors and find and utilize trainers for additional trainings as needed
- Has complete managerial responsibility for the ICASS Language Program including; work distribution, scope of program, to include an English language program, filing and all administrative duties
- This is a Coordinator position that may require employee to fill in as instructor to cover for emergency absences. The position will serve as backup for Human Resources staff)
- The position should have Human Resources experience in a government setting
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of five years’ experience in employee development/training. Two years of the five must be experience in a Human Resources department AND one year of the years of the five must be in a supervisory capacity over subordinate staff
- Level IV (fluency – speaking/reading/writing) in English and Level IV in Portuguese is required
