EPTS Manager

FHI360 is recruiting a EPTS Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Liaise with DPS staff on the importance of and use of EPTS as well as use of the system
• Work with the PTOs Data Systems and PTOs IT/Mhealth to ensure installation of the EPTS equipment and software in health facilities
• Oversee training and ongoing support to health facilities using EPTS for data entry and analysis
• Ensure that the data entered into the EPTS are of high quality and that the quality of the data is documented
• Work with M&E team to build their capacity to support EPTS data entry and use
• Provide technical assistance to develop tools and train staff in the area of data management in coordination with the Director M&E
• Document protocols for EPTS implementation and support
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requisites

• Advanced university degree in Computer Information Science, Management Information Systems
• Experience with OpenMRS and DHIS 2
• Experience in working with data in public health settings, preferably related to HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and/or malaria, Gender Based Violence, Maternal and Child health
• Experience in M&E and information systems
• Experience mentoring project staff
• Experience developing and maintaining databases and document management systems
• Experience in supporting data systems
• Experience in documentation of database protocols and changes
• Experience in setting up, administering and troubleshooting database applications e.g. MySQL, Postgresql desirable
• Solution-Oriented Analysis

• Good organizational skills
