Finance Assistant

DAI is recruiting for Feed The Future Value Chain a Finance Assistant, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• The Finance Assistant is responsible for providing assistance the Finance and Accounting team
• Monitor and maintain detailed tracker of all payment request received in Finance
• Verify what documentation submitted to Finance for payment is approved and complete for processing
• Responsible for scanning and uploading vouchers into finance and monitoring system on a monthly basis
• Organize and keep an adequate filing system of FERs and its back up documentation
• Help the Finance Lead obtain approval signatures or missing documentation to proceed with payments
• Review documentation payments under the supervision of the Finance Lead
• Any other tasks assigned by the Finance Lead

Requisites

• A college degree in a relevant field preferred (such as finance or business administration)
• Demonstrated honesty, trustworthiness, initiative and self-motivation in handling all assigned tasks
• Must have English and Portuguese language proficiency, verbal and written
• Supervisor: Accountant
