Aldelia is recruiting a Financial Administrative Coordinator (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Prepare monthly sales invoices for clients and submit them on a timely manner and ensure posting into Primavera
- Submit Statement of accounts to clients at the end of the month
- Collate all purchase invoices as well as intercompany recharges and post them into Primavera
- Obtain the credit/debit card transactions and analyze them for posting into Primavera
- Obtain the bank transactions for posting into Primavera
- Collate the petty cash reports and post them into Primavera
- Reconcile the bank accounts and where required, translate the balances at the end of each month
- Responsible to allocate payments and receipts to the corresponding client and supplier accounts and ensure all client and supplier accounts are reconciled in Primavera
- Generate the Aged Debtors and Aged Creditors and review for omissions of allocations while ensuring the reports are aligned with the monthly trial balance
- Run the monthly payroll
- Responsible to import the payroll information into Primavera
- Recognize expenses for which monthly invoices have not been received (staff working under consultancy agreements)
- Issue reports for Sales and Cost of Sales to ensure that all revenue and contractors costs have been recognized/accrued
- Prepare a monthly summary of accruals, prepayments and accrued income and ensure that the balances match those in the monthly Trial Balance
- Carry out Admission processes and Contracts Term Right, ensure that all documentation has been collected, Issue Work Contracts
- Maintain a fixed asset register
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Follow the External Audit, Interact with the external auditors and provide all the financial data from the Accounting Consultant to the auditors
- Prepare cash forecasts and age debtors reports on a weekly basis
- Chase clients whose invoices have fallen due for payment
- Preparing a list of payments for approval and uploading payments on the banking platform
- Dealing with auditors
- Ensure tax compliance in Mozambique
- Obtain TCC when required
- Prepare the Financial Report
- Carry out any other Ad-Hoc task requested by the managers and by the Group Finance Team
- Dealing with auditors
- Prepare and ensure timely remittances of all taxes (Income tax IRPS, Social Security, INSS, IRPC, and VAT)
Requisites
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Finance or related areas
- Knowledge of the Labor Law
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Office package
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera
- Mandatory fluency in Portuguese and English
