Mashova is recruiting a Financial Administrator, to be based in Matola.
Duties
- Ensuring that all books of account are accurate, complete and valid, by performing reconciliations as necessary
- Maintain accurate records in conformance with local requirements and company procedures
- Liaise with head office finance department and assist with monthly reconciliations
- Responsibility for annual audit for Mozambique operations
- Make sure that all reporting compliant with local Mozambique legislation and IFRS
- Prepare and submit all necessary local tax computations and returns, to ensure compliance with local tax authorities including but not limited to IVA, IPRS, IRPC, Social Security
- Debtors Control - To ensure the timeous collection of Debtors in order to optimise cash flow, minimize risk and reduce outstanding debtor’s balances
- Creditors Control - To ensure that duties in relation to accounts payable are carried out in order to achieve the company’s financial and business objectives
Requisites
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Accounting & Financial Administration
- Fluency in Portuguese & English a prerequisite
- Computer literate on MS Office and Pastel Evolution
