Heading is recruiting for its client an Oil and Gas company, a General Services Transportation Officer (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Overview vehicles and drivers operations, to comply to with company standards and regulations
- Support transportation service plan, direct, and coordinate the transportation operations within the organization
- Manage and control fuel re-fillings
- Manage drivers documentations
- Manage drivers timesheets
- Manage the tracking IVMS system
- Monitor operations to control that staff members comply with administrative policies, procedures and safety rules
- Coordinate the administrative process and resolve organization complaints
- Serve as contact person for all workers in transport management
- Provide reports of vehicles, fuel, IVMS showing cost trend and proposing corrective actions
- Perform administrative tasks (Support the contract manager/contract administrators to control invoices from Contractors)
- Investigating promptly all accidents and unsafe acts involving subordinates and contract staff, recommending appropriate steps for improvement (changes in practices, training, etc.) and making appropriate recommendations to staff
Requisites
- Degree in Law, Human Resources, Administration or related field – an advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles
- Portuguese Proficiency
- English proficiency – an advantage
- HSE-related Courses
- High level experience in Transport Management activities (At least 5 years of experience) is mandatory
