US Embassy is recruiting a GSO Administrative Assistant, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- The incumbent provides administrative support to the General Services Officers (GSO) and sections of GSO that fall under the purview of the General Services Officers
- Provides guidance and assistance to the general services section heads in coordinating GSO priorities and completion of assigned responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between customers and personnel in GSO
- Updates the GSO communication platforms and other online data sources across all GSO sections
Requisites
- Two years of university
- Three years of secretarial or administrative experience in an office environment
- Level III speaking/reading/writing English is required. Level IV (fluent) speaking/reading/writing Portuguese is required
- A good knowledge of office management
- Must be able to use computers and Office Suite Applications
- Excellent telephone technique skills, dealing calmly and effectively with a variety of customers, creative problem solving. Basic computer/typing skills in English and Portuguese
