Head of Group Marketing

PRI is recruiting a Head of Group Marketing, to be based in Maputo.

Duties
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies in line with the Group strategy
  • Establish and execute best in class, international standard marketing and communication campaign streams to catalyse and accelerate business development initiatives within the Group
  • stablish monitor and enforce ‘look and feel’ branding standards for customer touch points and product/solution related communications within the Group
  • Provide broad ownership and overview over the customer product set within the Group
  • Jointly with Corporate Affairs actively engage and manage relationships with relevant vendor Agencies. In addition, work jointly with this function to manage social media related activity that impacts on the customers experience with the brand
  • Developing the propositional marketing initiatives in line with the Group’s transformational strategy which focuses on the Financial Inclusion opportunity within our current and potential markets. This includes the use of traditional, new and emerging media in product/propositional marketing related executions
  • Achieve marketing operational objectives by contributing marketing information and recommendations to Bank’s strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends
  • Working together with the country business units, Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development
  • Protects organization\'s value by keeping information confidential
  • Being the key point of contact for both Financial Inclusion and other support teams (in country and Group) with regards to product marketing related streams
  • Working closely with Corporate Affairs in the management of company social media platforms
  • Developing propositional/product marketing related presentations, communications re key events e.g. press releases, scripts and Q&A briefing documents
  • Developing, implementing and refreshing the Group Product and Propositional marketing policy and procedures and communicating the same across the organisation as appropriate
  • Monitoring and tracking key market and economic trends with a view to assessing their impacts to the business and positioning the Group to mitigate where risks emerge
  • Leading and co-ordinating the production of product marketing related collateral
  • Ensure staff within the marketing team are highly engaged, developed and are clear of their performance expectations
  • Ability to analyse and monitor Group product and solution related performance indicators from a marketing and communications standpoint within the context of the Group’s Strategic plans
