CBE is recruiting a HR Manager, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Goal oriented performance appraisal for all employees
- Develop systems and procedures for monitoring and managing employee activities
- Day to day operations; monitor attendance, leaves, overtime etc
- Interface with departments in TDML for respective manpower requirements
- Prepare job descriptions, recruit the right fit for the respective vacancies. Address IR issues with workforce
- Communicate company policies and procedures to all employees
- Map competencies and design the training & development calendar for TDML

- Execute the Employee Engagement Survey (EES)
- Monitor the outcome and implement the action points arisinq from EES
- Interfacing with TATA Africa Holdings and ensure compliance with reporting
- requirements
- Budgeting for costs, manpower, training requirements for Maputo, Beira, Nampula and Tete offices
- Apprise TDML management of Mozambican HR/IR laws, compliances
- Regularly monitor changes in laws and take action accordingly
- Control costs related to manpower activities
- Undertake CSR initiatives
- Work out the compensation & benefit for all employees
Requisites
- 5+ years of Post qualification experience
- Collaborating and influencing skills
- Stakeholder management
- Full knowledge of local HR laws and compliances
- Strong technical and operational background
- Should be fluent in English and full proficiency of Portuguese
- Qualified MBA HR I relevant HR degree
