Twigg Exploration & Mining is recruiting a HR Officer, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.
Duties
- Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
- Provide advice and assistance to the Hiring Manager on staff recruitment
- Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions
- Schedule and organize interviews
- Participate in applicant interviews, Conduct reference checks on possible candidates
- Execute procedures and policies on staff recruitment
- Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place
- Make sure that the vacancies are filled accordingly with the workforce planning
- Update Organizational Charts
- Monitor Syrah’s work performance system
- Making recommendations to HR Superintendent regarding improvements in the remuneration and benefits packages
- Build relationships and engage with other market companies that can provide further services
- Control and lease with the insurance company
- Evaluate periodically the position in the band for all Twigg database
Requisites
- Qualifications Degree in HR or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience providing HR support in remote areas
- Experience HR work mine sector
- Strong judgment and decision making skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- Experience on laborers dispute resolution
- Advanced computer proficiency and experience across Microsoft Office suite
